| Mix sugar, salt and spices together. Beat eggs lightly, as for custard.
Stir in sugar mixture, pumpkin, evaporated milk and whole milk. When thoroughly mixed, pour into deep pastry crust.
Add 1 teaspoon of melted butter in center to keep crust from cracking while in the oven.
Bake at 425F degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 and continue baking for 45-50 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.|
